GDC VIJAYPUR HOSTS LIVE STREAMING OF INDIA TECHADE: CHIPS FOR VIKSIT BHARAT Government Degree College Vijaypur enthusiastically participated in the live telecast of “India Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat” under the guidance of worthy Principal of the college Prof (Dr.) Vandana Gupta. Faculty members and students of the college attended the live telecast with great zeal, enthusiasm and fervor. Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi participated in ‘India’s Techade: Chips for Viksit Bharat’ and laid the foundation stone of three Semiconductor Projects. During the program, Prime Minister Modi virtually addressed the people stating that the projects mark a crucial step towards India’s efforts to become a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing. “Today is going to be a historic day. We are not only scripting history today but also taking a step forward towards a bright future. This will help in making India a global hub for semiconductor facility,” PM Modi said. He reiterated India’s commitment to self-reliance and modernity through indigenous chip production marks further a step closer towards bright future. More than 100 college students participated in the program. Students also presented their views after the live telecast. The event was coordinated by Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Prof. Poonam Kundan, Dr. Manoj Heer and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary; it was co-cordinated by Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Attied Khawar, Prof. Renuka Kundal, Prof. Mazid Malik, Dr. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Jan Mohd. Wani, Dr. Neelam Kumari, Prof. Sonia Devi, Dr. Tisha Singh, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo and Dr. Radhika Rasyal attended the program.
