Government Degree College Vijaypur celebrates Republic Day Government Degree College, Vijaypur celebrated Republic Day with great fervor and enthusiasm in the College premises. The event started with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal of the college. It was followed by National Anthem. Students of the College presented various cultural events with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervor and great zeal. Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal of the college briefed the staff and students that being a republic means being a nation with equality among its citizens. The importance of equality in a community cannot be overstated. It provides people with independence and freedom in their daily lives. Moreover the significance of this day lies in the historical journey that transformed India from British dominance to a democratic republic country. Refreshment was also given to participants at the end of the function.
