Financial Awareness Camp With PNB Vijaypur

Govt. Degree College Vijaypur organized Financial Awareness Camp with PNB Vijaypur Career counseling cell of Govt. Degree College Vijaypur in collaboration with Department of Environmental Sciences organized financial awareness camp with PNB Vijaypur with the objective of creating awareness about the different financial aspects among the students of the college. The college provided its full support to the endeavour. The team from Punjab National Bank, including Yadwinder Kumar (Senior Branch Manager, Vijaypur) and Deepak Singh (CAC, Jammu) along with other members shared valuable information among students regarding the banking services like accepting deposits, facilitating transactions and offering various financial products like savings accounts, loans, credit cards, investment services, electronic banking, online banking, mobile banking, etc. The event witnessed active participation from a large number of students. The bank representatives also shared information about the various advantageous schemes available to account holders. The initiative was spearheaded by the college's Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Gupta, aiming to instil financial knowledge among students. She further congratulated the organising team for organising such programmes for the students and that is the need of the hour. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Mamta Gupta (Convener Career Counselling Cell and HOD Commerce), Dr. Anoop Bhagat (HOD Sociology), Prof. Poonam Kundan (HOD Environmental Sciences) and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary (HOD English) and Co-cordinated by Dr. Tisha , Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo, Dr. Radhika Rasyal.
