District Level Declamation Contest

Nehru Yuva Kendra Samba in collaboration with GDC Vijaypur today organized a Declamation Contest on the theme MY Bharat-Viksit Bharat @ 2047 by the Youth for the Youth which was sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to mark the National Youth Day celebrated on 12th of January 2024. The program started with the lightning of lamp by the senior faculty members and the jury members. Prof Anita Jamwal, In charge Principal) of the college was honored by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Samba. Over 20 students participated in the district level event to act as a think tank and present their ideas to take India towards the goal of being declared a Developed Nation. Dr. Samriti Manchanda, Associate Prof. GDC, Samba, Dr Snobar, Assistant Prof. GDC Ramgarh, and Prof. Vijay Kumar, Assistant Professor, GDC Ghagwal were the jury members for the contest. The first position was won by Vikas, second was secured by Geetika and the third rank was achieved by Shavi Verma. The proceeding of the event was carried by Dr. Attied Khawar and Dr Priyanka Ganjoo. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Anoop Kumar, Prof Ritu Bhagat, and co-coordinated by Prof Poonam Kundan and Dr. Naseem Choudhary with the technical support of Prof. Madhu Bala, Prof. Gagandeep Singh and Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal. Refreshment was also distributed at the end of the programme.
